Compensation from Everton helps Burnley avoid record losses

  3. Burnley reported a £9 million loss for the 2025-26 season, a figure that would have reached £47.8 million without the compensation from Everton.[1]

  5. Velocity Capital spent £77.7 million to help Burnley pay off part of the debt incurred from the club's acquisition.[1]
