Player Jesus de Miguel passes away following on-field injury

  1. Tenerife's 30-year-old striker, Jesus de Miguel, passed away on Tuesday morning following a serious injury.[1]
  2. The incident occurred after a collision with FC Andorra goalkeeper Jesus Owono during a Spanish second-division match.[1]
  3. The match between Tenerife and FC Andorra was abandoned after goalkeeper Owono received a red card and left the pitch.[1]
  4. Jesus de Miguel had only joined the club Tenerife in the summer of 2025.[1]
  5. The Spanish Footballers Association (AFE) requested the postponement of weekend matches, leading to the rescheduling of Tenerife and Andorra's games.[1]
